Sisters' Sweet Snuggles

Emily has really grown into her role as big sister these last few months. She loves to snuggle Elizabeth and talk to her, "whatchoo need honeybun? I right here." is something I hear often when Elizabeth is crying.

As Elizabeth has gotten bigger and more sturdy, Emily has watched as Dad has stepped up his wrestling game with Baby Sister, and Emily has decided wrestling Elizabeth is pretty fun, and Elizabeth loves it too!

Tuesday Dinner

During our monthly Tuesday dinner with Hickses last month, a true dance party erupted. Five girls getting their grove on...it's quite entertaining!

Eleven Months Old!

I was getting Elizabeth dressed on the morning of her eleven month birthday, and realized I haven't taken many pictures of her in nothing but a diaper, and she's just such a cute naked baby, I had to do her eleven month photo shoot sans clothes.

My Stuff!!!!

As these little feet have been moving around faster and faster, the Big Sister toys have become more and more accessible. Sometimes big sisters want to share their toys, but sometimes, sharing is hard.

Addie has been a bit of a hoarder for quite awhile (see this post to revisit the beginnings of grocery cart as stuff keeper) but recently, she has really started keeping her stuff (My buff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) safe from Little Sister's curious hands. The grocery cart has come back as a tool in this game of safekeeping.

Now, anyone who knows me knows that I am a pretty organized person, sometimes a bit on the OCD side. So looking at a grocery cart overflowing with stuff after the kids go to bed just doesn't work for me. So every night I was emptying the cart, putting the toys back in their appropriate bins, throwing away the scraps of paper and bandaid wrappers that made it into the pile of important stuff. After a couple of weeks of this, I tried giving Addie her very own bin for the toy shelf. However, the bin just ended up becoming another item in the grocery cart. Currently, the grocery cart is residing in the laundry room, because that seems to be a pretty safe spot.

Kitchen Play

This little gal is on the move and curious about everything! She's discovered that there are lots of fun things to explore behind closed doors in the kitchen!

Snow Snack

It was Elizabeth's chance to taste some snow, and when I brought some inside for her to snack on, her big sisters wanted to try some too. I made theirs extra special with pink sprinkles. Oooo! Sprinkles can make a treat of anything!

Blue Skies Blue Park

February brought spring fever to Colorado. One warm weekend day we brought the kids and the tricycle to the blue park for some fun in the sun.

It's Electric!

Chris bought a plasma ball in 2011 to experiment with and he figured he'd bring it out to show the girls someday. Well, that day came last month, and the girls had such a good time exploring electricity with Dad! Even Elizabeth got to join in the fun. It was great.
