Spring Break! Zoo

We got to celebrate spring break last week, and even though we had to wait really long as ours didn't start until April, it was worth the wait because we were blessed with gorgeous spring weather.

We started the week off with a trip to the zoo with our friends Jennica, Kaia and Kastor. The sky was blue, the sun was shining, and the temperature was absolutely perfect. We had a great time with our friends!

Of course we needed to visit the flamingos, since they're a current favorite. They were still in their indoor habitat.

Addie brought Sparkle Baby to the zoo, and found a little spot in a cave and then asked to take Sparkle's picture. :)

Hello Kastor!

Emily, Addison and Elizabeth were super excited to have Kaia and Kastor over for a playdate last month. Emily and Addie had a great time holding and doting over baby Kastor, and all three girls had a fun time playing with Kaia.

A Little Friend

Kaia Lin was born on February 29th, which makes her a leapling! She came into the world three weeks early weighing 6 pounds, 5 ounces. She's a healthy and alert little girl, and when she was almost three weeks old, Emily and Addison got to meet her!

To be honest, Emily and Addison were probably a little more excited to see Doogle, he was a little more active than Kaia. In fact, later when Doogie got to come out of his kennel, Addie chased him around, squealing with delight.
