Arvada Kite Festival

We heard about this great community gathering from some friends, and decided it just sounded too fun to pass up. We invited the Sebrings to meet us at the park not quite knowing what to expect from a kite festival. We were pleasantly surprised by live music, food vendors, and, of course, lots and lots of kites!

On a windy day in April, we grabbed the kite and walked up the street to the park to see if we could get it in the air.

 

 

 

Easter 2013

We had a great Easter celebration this year at Uncle Bob and Aunt Marsha's house.

After two egg hunts, the girls knew what to expect, and when we headed outside at Uncle Bob's for the hunt, the excitement was buzzing in the air!

 

There were lots of eggs hidden along this fence, and Addie ran down the length of the fence saying "bag bag bag" as she collected her eggs

We started gathering great grandkids around Grandma

We were successful in getting all the girls around her, but Luca and Bodhi were ready to call it a day and needed to be by their mamas

A Saturday Egg Hunt

The Saturday before Easter, the Rices came over for an Easter Egg hunt. Wendy, Mark, Dale and Rose are some of our very best friends, and we had a wonderful day with them!

 After some Easter crafts, the kids got to have a delicious snack of "tea" and cookies.
