Hello Bumbo!

Last month the bumbo made its way up from the basement for Elizabeth to have her first go in the little seat. Emily and Addie were about the same age when they first tried out the seats. Flashback! It's so funny that I thought they looked so old at this age. 

 

Addie was so excited to see her little sister sitting up. She was even more excited a few minutes later when Elizabeth was done sitting because she got a turn in the Bumbo. Shortly after, I needed to put it away in the laundry room because brawls broke out between Emily and Addison over whose turn it was to have a seat.

 

Bumbos

We have mani/pedi day about once every week or two around here. How do I know it's time for mani/pedi day? Scratches begin appearing on the girls faces and/or Chris and I begin feeling the wrath of the claws.

Ever since the girls were able to sit in their Bumbos, I've used the seats to help keep them still while I clip their nails.

I always give the girls a choice: square or rounded? Long, medium, or short? But no matter what they choose, I always give them the same short rounded look. It's safest.

We had a long winter of mani/pedis inside, which meant some loud and obnoxious dustbusting always followed the clipping. Now that glorious spring has returned, we're able to enjoy our pampering outside once more.
