Fun Times

Addie still loves getting undressed, and recently figured out how to unzip her pjs.

This is thrilling!

Emily's new passion is couch digging. She likes to get behind the cushions and hide, and, more recently, the fun thing is taking all the back cushions off to create a wider playing space on the couch.

Where's Emily?

 Chris is enjoying this age a lot, and has a great time rough housing with the girls. He recently invented this fun game he likes to call "baby chicken fighting" and it always brings rounds of giggles.

 

 

 

Chris gets a pretty good leg workout with this fun favorite.

 

Party Hats and Princess Dresses

When Auntie Wendy came for a visit in May, she brought these wonderful dress up dresses for the girls. They were a bit big this summer, but fit perfectly now, and have made dress-up fun even more exciting! Bring the big mirror up from the basement, and let the dress up fun begin!

A Day at the Zoo

Great Grandpa Turns 90

On November 1st, Great Grandpa turned 90 years old! It's quite a big milestone, so of course the whole family needed to get together to celebrate!

On our way up to Great Grandma and Grandpa's building at Windsor Gardens, we asked the girls to hold hands to take some pictures in their party outfits.

Aunt Dale is the family photographer, and always does a great job of gathering the whole group for a tripod pic. Almost everyone was here for this big group picture. This family is growing and growing! Grandpa always says the legs of the octopus are multiplying.

After family photos, the great grandkids pointed out to the rest of us that it was a great day to play in the leaves.

Greats

In October, we were able to spend some time with the Great Grandparents. 

Great Grandma Nicoll came over with DeeDee one morning. The girls showed her all their dress up clothes and showed off their running, jumping, and tumbling skills. 

 Then one afternoon later in the month, we visited Great Grandma and Grandpa Hicks for some lunch and play time at Windsor Gardens.

No trip to GG's would be complete without a peek at the Swiss music box!

More Fall Fun

I put a bench out front this year with a pot of purple mums and some Halloween decorations, and it quickly became a favorite gathering spot for Emily and Addison. Every time we got out of the car, it was straight to the bench to say hello to their scarecrow friend and see if he'd like a bite of pumpkin.

After the leaves in the front yard had really accumulated and begun to get crunchy, we did some raking and the girls had fun playing in the piles.
