Callie got to see her Auntie Abbey in labor in the hospital (which was probably a little strange for her) and then got to meet the girls shortly after they were born.

Hangin' with Cousin Callie
1st Hike
CeeCee came into town with Aunt Sister Joan and Aunt Mary Jo this past weekend on their way home from a trip to Texas to see their sister, Jeannette. The weather wasn't great, but we took a little walk along the base of the flatirons in Boulder. The girls liked the bumpy road, it was quite an adventure.

Tea Party!
On Saturday, my aunt LuAnne hosted a tea party for my cousin Krista's bridal shower. The girls got all dressed up in their very first outfits that Christa bought them last October and got their first glimpse of tea party life! :)

Videos?
So I've been trying to upload videos to this blog for over a month without success. I've been afraid to upload videos to YouTube because I don't want just anyone to be able to see my precious babies. But today I figured out how to upload to YouTube privately, so I'll attach a couple links to short videos here:
Enjoy!

2 Month Photo Shoot
Emily and Addison turned two months on April 27th. We celebrated with a photo shoot in their new tutus.
~Addison~
Loves sucking on her hands, smiling, and listening to people talk to her
~Emily~
Loves her pacifier, staring into peoples eyes, and playing in the jungle
~Sisters~
They don't really notice each other yet, but we can pretend they're having a conversation...
Emily: "Hey Addison, look at the camera."
Addison: "I don't get your obsession with that passi, hands taste much better!"
Addison: "I think I'll just do some stretches while Mom takes another picture."
Emily: "I'd so much rather be in the jungle right now."
Emily: "OK, Mom, seriously, I've had enough."
Addison: "O...M...G"

Easter
The Easter Bunny came to our house for Addison and Emily's first Easter! The girls got to dress up in their Easter dresses and we had a very full day. We went to church, then it was off to Grandma and Grandpa Hicks's and then we stopped at Grandma DeeDee's before heading home.
Here are the girls with their Easter treats
Four Generations
Grandpa Hicks held Addison
Grandma got some Emily time
Aunt LuAnne held Addison while Grandpa looked on.
Grandpa has macular degeneration, and is nearly blind. But, he is always able to tell Emily and Addison apart. He says it is because Addie is the one who looks just like Abbey. :)
BG got some time with Addison
Emily and Dad
Cousin Skyler liked the girls a lot. He was very sweet and wanted to share with them. Here he is letting Emily have a turn with his new Easter duck. He also gave Emily his most prized possession, his blankie.
Our Family! :)
Time Flies!
Out and About
April was a month full of adventures for Emily and Addison. They left the house a lot, for big events and small errands. One of the big events was our friend Claire's 2nd birthday party! The girls didn't get to eat any cupcakes, but they did get to meet new people and they had a great time!
Claire wanted to give her baby a bottle after seeing Addison and Emily get bottles from Mom and Dad! :)
